Advent 2016

Celebrate the Birth of Jesus

This year I have been so blessed to be able to celebrate this great time with others.

I am so thankful to work with and be associated with so many people who know what Advent is all about. Today, Sunday, the morning temperatures were -10 degrees Fahrenheit. That is the actual temperature.

Many churches closed under the pressure of today’s media. My church, as a part of the Omaha Archdiocese, did not close. Our church understands the value of what Sunday morning is all about. God is more powerful than any politically correct regulation.

This week we celebrate the coming of Jesus as part of the fourth week of Advent. Many people are focused on gifts for Christmas. Today, my focus will be on the anticipation of Christ coming. The Christmas dialogue reminds us how Mary accepted the responsibility for carrying God’s son. Also, Joseph took on the responsibility to support Mary and look out for her interest tests. At first, Joseph wanted to divorce Mary quietly to protect her, but going forward, Joseph accepted the responsibility for Mary’s pregnancy and understood God’s plan for our ultimate salvation.

I love the message of Christmas. God loved us so much that he became one of us and took it upon himself to become part of our humanity and take on our sinfulness so that we might have the chance to have eternal life.

God’s love is unfathomable. We should recognize this, respect this and rejoice that we have a Merciful God.

Please take time this season and remember that Christmas is a huge event in our ultimate salvation. God loves us so much that he sent his only Son into the world. (John 3: 16). I am so thankful that God’s plan is so much bigger than our own and that HE uses our own people to fulfill his plan.

Blessings on your Christmas Celebration.

Faith is All You Need!

The Verse I need to Remember

John 10:10

john-10-10I keep replaying this verse over and over!

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full. Catholic Bible

Jesus came to give all of us life. We need to start using the power that Jesus has given us and remember that he lives inside of us. I am God’s Temple. I need to stop thinking about myself and think more about God’s Temple inside of them.

2015 is a Crazy Year

8591572816_6de5e896552015 has started out as one of the most craziest years ever.

At work, I have never seen anything like it. Business has been great and people across the company are finding us online and are requesting our services.

At home, my kids are involved not in just one or two activities, but more like 4-5 activies. Not sure my kids know what down-time is.

The local news is now the national news and I find myself watching less and less television. Social media news feeds are now the news and everyone weighs in with their opinion.

People’s patience is very short and change is  the main constant.

People’s smartphones are the most important assets to people and most people are performing less and less work  on them.

Apple Macbooks are the best alternative to smartphones and the most stable form of technology.

That is all for now. Time to get off the computer and go for a workout.
