TransformedToday, I reflect on the gift of health. This past year, I have seen my parents fight through health issues like cancer, broken pelvis, low oxygen, high potassium.  In each one of these many prayers were stated by many followers of Christ. In each of these cases, doctors hands were moved to heal bones and prescribe medicines.

In all of these things, God’s hands were at work. I am reflecting on the following verse, and it is speaking to me that through these battles, my mind is being transformed and I am witnessing the supernatural powers of God at work. In the past, I would think all of this was just a natural part of a Christian Life. Now, looking back, I was doing a disservice to God.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
As I focus on this verse, my prayer for all of us is that we continue not to be conformed to this world which is so limiting but instead be transformed, so we strive to better understand the will and mercy of God.
