July 7, 2013 | Half-Way Summer Point

It is hard to believe that another summer is half over. What an amazing summer it has been, excep for this summer cold I just picked up today. It’s the 4th of July weekend and I always feel on top of a rollercoaster ride. Things have built up to get to this point and now the next drop occurs with my family getting together for different events and kids going to camps, school, practices and friends parties.

It is this time of the year that I look forward to the most. Business is at a peak, family activites are going, going and soon to be gone for another summer.

What do you like best about the summer?  All I have to say is hang in there for the ride because soon it will come to a screeching halt and school will begin.

Have fun and make sure you spend time with family and friends.

Last week of summer vacation for my kids

Kids and Summer

How did your summer vacation go? Are your kids ready for books and homework. Check out this story posted by Mitch Albom. It makes you think how much summer vacations have changed. Food for thought on a Monday.

The Joys of Summer   by Mitch Albom

Kids should be able to embrace summer for all of its worth. Hoping your kids got a taste of summer before they go back to school.
